The world's first vegan prepaid card is now available - Vegannection is a virtual card that you use via your Smartphone.
The Vegannection card, which can only be used in 100 percent vegan establishments, gives users two percent back every time they make a payment using it.
The card can currently only be used in London, but a Vegannection spokesperson told Plant Based News that it has cardholders in 13 different countries inlcuding Belgium, Peru, Portugal, UK, Mexico, France, Hong Kong, Austria, US, Brazil, Canada, and Germany.
"In a few months, we will announce our partners from other parts of UK, and Europe," Vegannection said to PBN. "After that, we are going to start with other continents."
They added: "We are very proud of all the feedback that we have received so far.
"Most people think this card is a perfect tool for supporting the vegan economy, vegan retailers, vegan consumers, and vegan lifestyle.
"We have a grand vision of this project, and a better world in the near future, and we are really excited to see that come to life soon."
