Professional mermaid Linden Wolbert has debuted a range of vegan doughnuts in celebration of last week's National Mermaid Day.

Wolbert, who is the world's highest paid mermaid, parterned with LA-based vegan and gluten-free shop Karma Baker to create plant-based doughnuts.

'Thrilled'

Linden is known for promoting ocean conservation and making media appearances around the world.

"We are thrilled to have professional Mermaid Linden as the face of our doughnut campaign," said Karma Baker co-owner Celine Ikeler.

"She’s everything we envisioned in a mermaid, and she’s real!"

The treats

The special edition mermaid doughnuts are available in two flavors: buttermilk with white chocolate, and chocolate with dark chocolate.

The vegan treats are also topped with sprinkes and a mermaid tail.

Karma Baker's doughnuts retail for $6 and they are only available in the U.S.
