Portland's Trail Blazers' Damian Lillard has given his verdict after a month of eating plant-based - and he says he 'feels much better'.

In an interview with Oregon Live, the professional basketball player revealed that he went plant-based a month ago in a bid to eat cleaner and create healthier habits.

Hype

The sportsman told the news outlet: "I thought it was all hype - but I can feel it.

He went on to say that he met some vegans that didn't try to push on it him. "They talked about it, and I checked them out - they looked healthy and happy - so I was like 'you know what, I'mma try that too'.

"So I jumped on board - and it's been working out for me."

Lillard also mentioned that it's easy for him to eat exclusively vegan food, considering he has a chef.
