According to the chain, the patty which forms the base of the two meals, features the flavors of red pepper, chili, garlic, and red onion.
It has also launched a new vegan garlic aioli, which it describes as a creamy garlic sauce.
"Whether you’re veggie, vegan, flexitarian or just fancy a meat-free munch, customers may in fact be surprised at how much of the menu at Subway is already suitable for vegans," a spokesperson told Plant Based News.
"This includes our crave-worthy Hash Browns, seven of our best-selling sauces including BBQ, Sweet Chilli, and Hot Chilli, the Italian and Hearty Italian breads, and of course our crunchy salads too. At Subway, you can make it what you want, when you want."
Subway joins a host of other outlets who have rolled out grab-and-go vegan options in recent times - including Greggs and McDonald's among others.
The fast-food giant rolled out its Spicy Vegetarian Wrap and first Vegetarian Happy Meal in January. Both are certified by The Vegetarian Society, as while the ingredients are vegan, there is a risk of cross-contamination during the cooking process.
Greggs' vegan sausage roll became the chain's bestselling new launch in six years when it hit shelves in January - quickly rolling out across all branches, following a launch in around half of Greggs' stores.
The success of these items correlates to numerous pundits who predicted that vegan food would be a top trend in 2019. Among them was delivery service Uber Eats, which made the claim in its most recent annual report.
Speaking about popular foods for 2019, the report said: "We took a look at foods that are popping up more frequently in Eats orders, and uncovered a few rising food trends for 2019.
"People aren't just ordering in Chinese food and pizza anymore. As wellness gets more and more popular, we've seen a spike in searches for clean eating staples from meat-alternatives like tofu and seitan...Alternative milk options continue to climb the ranks, with pea milk rising to the top."
