Vegan brand Oumph! will be stocked at Lidl stores in Sweden this week, following the skyrocketing demand for plant-based products.

Lidl, the number one retailer in Europe and the fourth largest in the world, has 181 stores in Sweden, and will soon stock four Oumph! products: Pulled Oumph!, Grilled Spiced, Thyme & Garlic and Kebab Spiced.

'Expansion plans'

Sales director at Oumph!, Carl Montelius, said: "We are thrilled that Oumph! will be available at Lidl in Sweden, which will allow our popular products to reach a growing number of people who enjoy good, plant-based foods.

"We see the launch with Lidl Sweden as a part of our expansion plans both in Sweden and in Europe."

Award-winning products

The Swedish company has scooped multiple awards in the past, including 'Best Food Product of the Year' by Food Matters Live 2018, and PETA UK's 'Best Vegan Meat 2018'.

Oumph!'s products, which are made primarily from soya beans, can also be found across the UK, in retailers such as Tesco and Holland & Barrett.
