A vegan ice-cream van is set to tour the UK this Summer - giving out free frozen treats.

The van is part of an initiative by leading animal protection charity Viva! to show people how tasty it can be to ditch animal products.

The van will tour between July 31 and August 6, visiting Cardiff, Blackpool, Leeds, Brighton, and London among other places.

'Taste without cruelty'

Viva! Founder and Director Juliet Gellatley, said: "We all know how extremely delicious vegan ice-cream is - all the taste without the cruelty!

However, much of the British public doesn't know how easy and yummy it is to choose a dairy-free option and how much suffering they can prevent by doing so.

"Giving out free ice-cream is the perfect way to create a positive atmosphere for vegan outreach. Very excited that the stops for our ice-cream van tour are confirmed."
