A host of prolific vegan activists will appear in an upcoming music video called UNLEASH.

The video, which launches on July 10, features John Abraham, Jaqueline Fernandez, PETA founder Ingrid Newkirk and international influencers Earthling Ed, Joey Carbstrong, James Aspey, Rob Banks, and Peace by Vegan.

The song is the first release from iAmAnimal, a musician who wants to build a platform and create awareness around animal agriculture via art and creativity.

UNLEASH, which was written and performed by Kunal Avanti, one of the forces behind iAmAnimal, is about compassion. The accompanying video was shot in the Himalayas.

According to Avanti, it delivers a 'message of hope and compassion towards the animals and the planet', without using any graphic imagery, which he and partners Blue Vector felt would turn people away and work against the objective of the film.

iAmAnimal will be launching an accompanying website on July 8. The site will feature donation links to numerous animal welfare and activism organizations around the world.

"So whether you want to contribute to the apes in Africa, help protect marine life,  rescue dairy cows in India, or help fight the dog meat festival in China, it will allow people to do their part and give back by supporting a cause of their choice," a spokesperson said.

"All donations will go directly to the chosen charity through direct links through the iAmAnimal platform.  The website also includes a 7-day plant-based nutrition challenge with top tips."

UNLEASH will be released worldwide on July 10 with a special launch event at Terttulia, Mumbai. You will be able to find out more here from July 8
