Plant-based brand Naturli' Foods has launched a vegan butter block in Denmark - hinting it will be coming to the UK soon.

The company, which posted details of the product on social media, asked its followers where it should bring the butter next.

The block follows the company's organic vegan spreadable butter - which launched in Sainsbury's across the UK earlier this year.

Vegan butter

"In Denmark we've just released our new Vegan Block, 100 percent plant-based,100 percent organic, 100 percent alternative to butter," said the post.

"What separates it from our original Spreadable is the firmness which we've accomplished by simply changing the proportions in the recipe.

"It's perfect for baking, ideal for frosting and just like it's softer cousin - it's amazing on toast. What do you think? Should we bring the block to you?"

Vegan butter in the UK?

"When will this be available in the UK please?" one fan asked on social media. "Your spread is a game changer in the vegan butter alternative arena. It is amazing, thank you."

The company hinted the product will hit shelves in the UK in the near future.

"We will work hard on expanding the distribution of the product to other markets, so hopefully you'll find it soon in the UK," wrote a spokesperson.
