Vegan activist James Aspey praised Plant Based News during a recent episode of Logan Paul's podcast.

Called Impulsive, the podcast is believed to reach in excess of 1,000,000 listeners (and YouTube viewers) regularly. The episode featuring Aspey is titled WARNING: James Aspey Will Make You Go Vegan.

Logan Paul has come in for criticism from the vegan community recently - after he pledged to go plant-based and was even spotted at LA VegFest - before u-turning on that decision and returning to eating animals.

Speaking about Aspey standing for Parliament in Australia, Paul's co-host Mike Majlak says: "I see you were brought up in Plant Based News. That's an interesting publication."

"That's a good one, man, " Aspey replies. "They do a thing every year Vegan 2018, Vegan 2017, [featuring] all the big highlights of the year, everything that's gone on in the plant-based, vegan, animal rights world.

"And it's always interesting man, big stuff happens."
