UK chain eatery Comptoir Libanais will be launching a special sharing menu next month to celebrate Veganuary.
The Lebanese and Middle Eastern restaurant, which has branches across London and the UK, will be rolling out a 'vegan feast' menu - that is 'feel good and healthy'.
Diners will be able to share four starters, two mains, and a dessert for a total of £19.95., coming up at less than £10 each.
Starters on the new vegan menu will include Beetroot Hummus, a smooth chickpea puree with tahina and beetroot, virgin olive oil, served with pita bread; Falafel served with tahina sauce, Freekeh - smoked green wheat, wild rocket, vine tomato, spring onion, apple vinegar, and mint dressing; Baba Ghanoush, which is smoked aubergine, tahina and lemon juice with pomegranate seeds, served with pita bread.
The sharing continues with mains, which sees a Quinoa and Pumpkin Salad and an Aubergine Tagine - baked baby aubergine in a rich tomato and chickpea sauce.
For dessert, the chain eatery will be offering a Rose Coconut Mouhalabia Milk Pudding - with coconut milk - which is a traditional Lebanese milk pudding flavoured with rose syrup and coconut and topped with toasted pistachios.
According to the restaurant: "Lebanese food lends itself so well to veganism with a lot of the dishes based around fresh vegetables, herbs and chickpeas - with an emphasis on being healthy."
