Results Are In: Vegans Are Hotter

Michael Dearborn (above) covers the story that vegans are hotter. The evidence? A Tinder experiment!

The experiment was conducted by PETA Australia recently who wanted to determine who got more right swipes on the dating app: vegans or meat-eaters. When the same male, using almost identical content, created one Tinder profile as a vegan and another as a meat-eater, his vegan profile received double the number of right swipes.

In one profile picture, 29-year-old “Peter” wore a shirt that read, “Vegan,” and in the other, he wore a shirt that read, “Bacon.” His other photos showed him at the supermarket buying plants or meat and at the beach with a dog or fishing. His bios were identical for each profile—except for one phrase, which read either “Vegan for life” or “Bacon is life.”

Thanks to PETA for breaking this story.
