Prince Harry is reportedly following a 'mainly' plant-based diet in the run-up to his wedding to Meghan Markle.
According to various newspaper reports, Prince Harry has 'ditched burgers' in favor of healthy plant-based foods like kale, sweet potatoes, and quinoa.
The sixth-in-line to the throne, who will marry Markle on May 19, is said to have lost seven pounds (half a stone) following his new eating plan.
A source told the Mail Online that the Prince started juicing under his fiancée's influence, and that: "She’s also weaning him off meat."
Speaking about Harry's pre-wedding diet, The Telegraph said: "It will be mainly vegan."
Markle previously revealed that she follows a plant-based diet during the week, saying: "I try to eat vegan during the week and then have a little bit more flexibility with what I dig into on the weekends.
"But at the same time, it's all about balance...I don't ever want to feel deprived. I feel that the second you do that is when you start to binge on things."
Although Prince Harry may be reducing his intake of animal products, he often comes under fire from animal campaigners due to his love for blood sports.
The prince came under fire last year for being part of a hunting trip in Germany that killed 15 wild boar.
But at the end of 2017, the royal ditched the animal Boxing Day shoot - reportedly at the request of Markle.
