According to an unnamed royal source, Prince Harry's decision to stop killing animals for fun is causing a rift between him and his brother Prince William

Prince Harry will ditch the traditional Boxing Day pheasant shoot again this year because his wife Meghan Markle is anti-bloodsports, according to a report.

A source told The Mirror that Markle - who refuses to wear fur and favors vegan leather - is upset by the idea of her husband killing 'defenseless animals'.

Now reports say Markle's influence could cause a rift between brothers Princes William and Harry.

No bloodsports

"In his mind, William sees this as another concerning example of his younger brother being pulled away from his family by his new wife," a royal insider told the Sunday Mirror.

"Harry's always loved hunting and it has provided them with a great chance to bond as brothers.

"But now it looks like Harry's shooting days are over. It's the latest point of contention between the Princes after a testing time in their relationship."

Despite The Mirror's source, according to The Telegraph, an unnamed 'well-placed' Kensington Palace source denied the story, saying: "This is completely untrue."
