Popular eatery Pret A Manger has launched its US fall menu - and there are some tasty treats for vegans.
Plant-based eaters can tuck into two new dishes - and wash them down with a couple of delicious-sounding new drinks.
The menu will be available in the chain's 84 outlets, which include branches in New York, Washington, D.C., Chicago, Philadelphia, Newport, NJ, and Boston.
Diners looking for a heartier lunch might opt for the Falafel & Turmeric Cauliflower Balance Box, which features falafel, roasted cauliflower, Dijon Brussels sprouts, beet hummus, and a brown rice, red quinoa and chickpea grain mix, served over fresh spinach and paired with a turmeric miso Ginger dressing.
For something lighter - but warming - you could try the Pumpkin Bisque, which Pret describes as a 'velvety pumpkin purée simmered in coconut milk, apple cider, sea salt and a seasonal spice blend'.
New for fall is the Almond Turmeric Latte. This drink, which comes either hot or iced, is described as 'a warm and earthy balance of almond milk, turmeric and spices'. For something sweeter, there is a new Apple Cider, which also comes hot or iced, and is made 'simply from pressed apples and a touch of spice'.
