The Pollination Project is a vegan nonprofit organization that makes small grants every day to what it describes as 'community change makers', in a bid to make the world more sustainable, just, peaceful, and compassionate.
It has done so since January 1, 2013.
Some of the projects have gone on to win international awards, gain media attention, and scaled their projects on a global level.
The Pollination Project values 'compassion consciousness' - whereby we think through and acknowledge the impact of our choices and our work: from the food we eat, to the questions we ask, to the office supplies we use, to the projects we fund and, ultimately, to the institutions and systems we challenge.
According to the event organizer: "Ari is a strong advocate for building a new food system grounded in compassion for all beings, sustainability/regeneration for earth's ecosystems, and vitality for our bodies.
"He is in London to nurture his new project on that. He will also share some thoughts about that new project too.
"On top of all this, Ari is a really friendly, kind, and down to earth guy! I met him as he's part of the Service Space community.
"He normally lives and works in California, but is over in London for a conference on animal agriculture's primary role in species extinction, so do come along for this unique opportunity to spend time with him."
Attendees at the event will spend half an hour sitting together in silence, before Ari shares his story and journey - 'including his work with the Pollination Project and his new project 50by40.org, which aims to reduce global industrialized meat production 50 percent by 2040'.
There will be an opportunity to ask Ari questions following his talk, then guests will enjoy a vegan 'potluck' (everyone is asked to bring a dish to share).
