Plant Based News has been nominated for a VegFest UK 2018 Award for Best Vegan Online Resource.
According to VegFest UK organizers, the awards 'bring together the nation's top vegan products, services and personalities'.
Voting for the awards is open now, and will close at 6pm on October 14. Winners will be announced and trophies presented at VegFest London on October 27 at Olympia.
PBN Founder Klaus Mitchell said: "We're delighted to have been recognized by VegFest for the online service PBN provides. VegFest Founder Tim Barford and his team have always been trailblazers when it comes to spreading a powerful and positive vegan message."
PBN Co-founder Robbie Lockie added: "It's an honor to be nominated for the award, alongside so many excellent organizations. It's a sign of the vegan times that competition within our category - as well as everyone else's - is so stiff.
"It's a public vote, so anyone who reads our website or watches our YouTube channel can get involved and vote for us. Best of luck to everyone in our category!"
The Organizers of the Awards added: "It's wonderful to be hosting the Awards for another year, bringing together the nation’s crème de la crème vegan products and services, and hence showing everybody the depth and breadth of all things vegan in a very positive fashion in 2018.
"Just looking at our list of nominees fills us with joy and admiration for how far we’ve come in terms of the variety available in the vegan market these days."
