A new teaser released by animal rights organization PETA provides a glimpse at the group's upcoming vegan themed horror film.

According to the title of the trailer released to YouTube, it aims to show 'what might happen if animals took revenge'.

The imagery includes a number of animals being butchered and, at one point, what appears to be a human brandishing a chicken mask.

The 'terrifying' short film is a project of PETA Latino - and according to the teaser will be released on October 31.

It appears that it will be available to view for free online through the organization's YouTube channel.
