Plant Based News has teamed up with the Hippocrates Health Institute to offer its readers $250 dollars off the Hippocrates Lifestyle Medicine Coaching Online Program.

The program, which gives attendees the distilled lifestyle medicine protocol that has been clinically refined over the past 60 years, focuses on teaching the most cutting-edge living foods, plant-based diet. After taking the course, students will be trained to become a Hippocrates Lifestyle Medicine Coach.

Raw and living foods

According to the institute, the Hippocrates Lifestyle is based on living foods and a plant-based diet. "Raw and living foods really pack nutrition," says the Institute. "They are high in fiber, enzymes, antioxidants, chlorophyll, phytonutrients, vitamins and minerals. Fiber helps with elimination of waste and healthy cholesterol levels. Fiber also acts as a pre-biotic which helps beneficial bacteria in the gut to support the immune and gastro-intestinal functions.

"Enzymes are protein molecules that initiate biochemical reactions in all living things, plants and animals alike, but are destroyed in the cooking process. Antioxidants counteract the damaging effects of 'free radicals'. A free radical can be defined as any molecular species capable of independent existence that contains an unpaired electron in an atomic orbital. Free radicals attack important macromolecules leading to cell damage and homeostatic disruption.

"Chlorophyll is the green coloring in plants and is a great blood builder. Phytonutrients contain protective, disease-preventing compounds that interact with other plant nutrients to produce a synergy that can help fight many diseases."

Never felt better?

Feedback from previous students has been positive, with Andrei Jablokow, Ph.D, saying the course is about 'more than what and when to eat it'.

"The program masterfully, washed the material and message over me many times, in many different ways, and by many different people in their lectures," he added. "In this way, the message got through to my core, challenged me, changed my way of thinking, changed what I believed, and had a profound effect on my lifestyle and my family.

"The program is a blessing for me and enabled me to lead my family to a healthier lifestyle as well. We are all now going in the direction of living a vegan diet as I strive to live the Hippocrates diet. I think it's great that I am able to improve my health and outlook and helping me to teach my family to care for themselves and the planet is more than I could have hoped for. I feel more conscious of myself, more confident, closer to nature, and closer to the Universal (God). I have never felt better physically and still have a long way to go."
