Vegan 2018: The Year A Movement Went Mainstream paints a portrait of how the vegan movement is rapidly growing across the world, as people become more conscious of the ethical, environmental, and health impacts of eating animals. It is the fourth installment in the series, and the first feature-length film.
This footage - along with sourced clips - will tell the story of veganism throughout 2018. A number of celebrities including Miley Cyrus, Lewis Hamilton, Will. I. Am and Moby are seen in the documentary, along with footage shot on location at events like the London Animal Rights March.
It was produced and directed by PBN Founder Klaus Mitchell, who said the film is the result of hundreds of hours of research, investigation, and editing - and that it's 'great to see people enjoying it'.
He added: ""Making a feature-length documentary about the growth of the vegan movement is something I've wanted to do for years, and seeing new comments on the film every day reflects how many people are invested in this incredible movement."
The documentary also won praise from prominent vegan activist Joey Carbstrong, who said: "[I watched] this at 2:00 am, and was literally cheering and clapping from my bedroom, hoping I didn't wake up the house. Thanks so much for all your work making this!"
