PBN Co-founder Robbie Lockie was featured on popular personal-growth inspired, vegan-positive podcast Soul in Wonder this week.
According to the Soul in Wonder website, the 'podcast features thought-leaders in alternative health, veganism, personal development, meditation, philosophy, mindfulness, spirituality, and more'.
In Episode 55, Lockie discusses Plant Based News, the vegan movement, and the influencer's personal journey to veganism.
He shares with Soul in Wonder listeners the life-changing moment which would inspire him as an activist and a vegan forever, the story of Plant Based News' inception, and details on its latest initiatives - including educational service PBN Learn.
Soul in Wonder Founders Sara Oakley and Christopher August met in Africa, where Sara was working with the US Peace Corps - and where Christopher would come to work as a volunteer after abandoning his 'cozy corporate job'.
The pair embarked on a journey of personal growth which, among other things, would lead them to veganism.
Also vegan advocates, Oakley and August are founders of The Vegan Warrior Academy - which includes a growing Facebook group of over 800 members.
The initiative's Facebook page describes the project as 'the first and only digital platform dedicated to enhancing your vegan lifestyle on a holistic level so you can not only become healthier, happier, and whole, but become an influential change-maker and effectively share your inner truth and vegan message with the world'.
