A new vegan restaurant opened its doors in North Las Vegas this week.

Veganos Kitchen, which is open for lunch and dinner, has taken over the El Herradero Mexican Grill space at Tonopah Plaza retail center.

The phenomenally popular plant-based Beyond Burger is on the menu, with eatery bosses saying it offers the 'flavor and feel of a regular burger, without any of the guilt'.

The menu, which features 'fresh hand-crafted vegan food', includes tacos, burritos, aguas frescas, sopes, and salads.

Veganos Kitchen will also be rolling out its own veganized version of the traditional Mexican 'pozole' dish.

'Super fries', 'chile relleno', and sandwich and soup combo deals are also available.
