The singer, who claims he has lost over 30 pounds since turning vegan around two years ago, said he 'loved' the plant-based diet.
“I am loving it. I genuinely am. It’s been about two years. More energy, my face clears up, weight falls off," Ne-Yo said.
Ne-Yo told Capital FM his vegan journey began after watching Netflix's What The Health documentary, stating: "To put it frankly, it p***ed me off. It really did. I was like, let me get this straight: the person giving you the disease and the person fighting the disease are in bed together? To hell with y’all.
"Out of spite, I went vegan because I was like, Y’all don’t care."
Last year, the star revealed his concerns that sticking to the vegan lifestyle might become challenging.
But he was committed, saying: "We're gonna make it work! Because it means something. It means saving your life."
