Britain's first out Muslim drag queen has delivered a hamper of vegan goodies to London Mayor Sadiq Khan.

Asifa Lahore has teamed up with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals [PETA] to deliver the vegan treats, just ahead of Muslim holiday Eid al-Adha.

Lahore is encouraging Mayor Khan 'to celebrate Eid with vegan foods'.

The drag queen promotes the celebration of Eid 'in a vegan manner'.

"Eid al-Adha is a holy time of sacrifice and generosity to friends, family, and those in need. And none are more in need of our help and kindness than animals," stated Lahore.

Lahore told Ruptly TV that Khan has a huge responsibility, and if he accepted veganism, then 'it would give a big call to British Muslims to follow suit'.
