A number of famous actors and musicians are set to appear at a special gala this weekend hosted by animal welfare organization Mercy For Animals (MFA).
The gala has been arranged to honor the organization's undercover investigators, who are responsible for documenting the truth behind animal agriculture.
The famous faces to appear at the event will include actors Maggie Q, Sarah Jeffry, Stephanie Corneliussen, and Elliot Knight, as well as musicians Geezer Butler, and Lily Kershaw.
The gala will be hosted by Nickelodeon actor Daniella Monet, American Woman star Alicia Silverstone and 'rock legend' Tom Scholz.
Undercover investigators are instrumental to MFA's animal aid efforts - which also include 'legal advocacy, corporate engagement, and social impact'.
According to the organization: "The animal abuse exposed by Mercy For Animals investigators at factory farms and slaughterhouses has led to landmark criminal prosecutions, legal reforms, mainstream news coverage, and corporate policy changes by the world’s largest food producers, including McDonald's, Walmart, and Nestlé."
