Moby Refuses To Play For Trump

The musician and animal rights activist said he'd only play if president-elect Donald Trump agreed to release his tax returns

Famed musician Moby recently refused to perform at the upcoming inauguration ball for president-elect Donald Trump. Moby revealed that a booking agent contacted him asking that he DJ the event, which is taking place on the January 20th. The musician took to Instagram and posted, “I was just asked by a booking agent if I would consider DJing at one of the inaugural balls for #Trump … I guess I'd DJ at an inaugural ball if, as payment, #Trump released his tax returns.” Events that Moby has agreed to include animal- or human-rights causes, including Los Angeles-based vegan festival Circle V, a benefit for the victims of the Oakland “Ghost Ship” fire, and a cruise put on by Animal Legal Defense Fund.
