The researchers placed two groups of obese men on a calorie restricted diet (either a high-fat or low-fat diet), and found that both were able to lose weight.
As a result, certain risk factors for cardio-vascular diseases (such as Coronary Heart disease) were reduced in both groups, but for the high-fat group, this was far from the whole story…
