A new plant-based eatery called 'Jackfruit Café' has opened its doors in the Los Angeles neighborhood of West Adams.

Located inside King's Donuts, the new vegan spot specializes in dishes made with jackfruit, a tropical starchy fruit similar in texture to pulled pork.

Jackfruit Café, which already holds a 4.5 star rating on Yelp, offers the fruit in BBQ, curry, jerk, and vindaloo sauces.
