Livin' On The Veg - a competition-style event serving vegan street food in London's King's Cross - took place over the weekend, and the best vegan trader was chosen by the public.
The festival, organized by KERB markets, featured eight vendors, including a number of big names like Temple Of Seitan, Biff's Jack Shack, and Lem Lem Kitchen.
The stalls served a signature dish which punters would rate, as they battled it out for the grand prize - KERB’s coveted Golden Carrot.
So who was awarded the big prize on the day?
The Golden Carrot went to Venezuelan stall Petare, which won the contest with its plant-based chip butty.
The chip butty was made out of maize dough - known as arepa - stuffed with cassava chips, fried plantain, avocado, and drizzled with garlic sauce and vegan feta.
Temple of Seitan was the runner-up, serving a trademark ‘chicken’ slider with agave mustard glaze.
