Plant Based News Co-founder Robbie Lockie will take to the stage at an upcoming London vegan event - speaking about effective activism.
The event is part of the Vevolution Topics series of monthly events, during which plant-based pioneers come together to discuss the role of the vegan movement in re-shaping our culture.
The other speakers at the event - which will take place on June 5 at the Trampery near Old Street - include Veganuary Co-founder Matthew Glover, Founder and Editor of Bright Zine Laura Callan, and Gavin Fernback Founder of The Fields Beneath.
According to Vevolution, the event will tackle the question of how we can challenge people and institutions to change a lifetime's habits.
The organizers say: "At this event you can learn from some of the leading people working in interesting and creative ways to convince institutions and people to move away from the use of animal-based products."
Plant Based News Co-founder Robbie Lockie said: "It isn't often I get a chance to speak about my passions in public. Most of my day is spent in the engine room of PBN working away on ways to build a bigger platform and to help get this message to millions.
"Vegan Advocacy is my entire life, I live it, eat it and breath it. It is the reason I wake up in the morning.
"I feel so privileged and honored to be able to speak at Vevolution topics this year on effective vegan advocacy and share my thoughts and feelings about what I personally think is effective advocacy."
