Vegan activist James Aspey has spoken out about upcoming vegan documentary Dominion - describing it as 'powerful'.

Dominion is a new feature-length film by Chris Delforce. It focuses on how animals are used and abused in Australia, looking at six primary facets of human interaction with animals - Pets, Wildlife, Scientific Research, Entertainment, Clothing and Food.

As revealed by PBN last week, Earthlings directing Shaun Monson has joined the production team, and vegan actors Joaquin Pheonix and Rooney Mara will narrate the film.

Anticipation

According to James Aspey, he has been 'eagerly awaiting the film's release' since first hearing about it.

He said: "Dominion will be one of the most powerful documentaries ever created in Australian history.

"It will shine a light on how we interact with the animal kingdom and the incompressible scale at which we do it."

Tour

Aspey also revealed that he will involved in the film as screenings start around Australia on March 29.

He said: "I'll be touring with the Dominion team to give a speech at each screening around the country.

"I'm honoured to be a part of this. So proud of Chris and his team at [animal organization] Aussie Farms for their relentless work and dedication.

"Can you imagine how hard it would be to capture this footage and edit a movie like this? My respect for them is unsurpassed."
