Good Food Institute Named Among Top US Charities Reducing Animal Suffering

The non-profit works with pioneers in the plant-based meat and clean meat fields in order to remove animals from the food system

The non-profit Good Food Institute (GFI) has been named one of the top three charities in the US for reducing animal suffering by the animal charity watchdog.

The GFI aims to overhaul global food systems to make them more sustainable and ethical, by working with scientists, investors, and entrepreneurs in the plant-based meat and clean meat fields.

Animal Charity Evaluators praised the non-profit for its 'leadership, strategy, transparency', as well as its 'focus on removing animals from industrial agriculture'.

"We are overjoyed to announce that charity watchdog Animal Charity Evaluators (ACE) has named The Good Food Institute as one of the three most impactful charities in the country for reducing animal suffering," said Bruce Friedrich, Co-Founder and Executive Director, GFI.
