Frankie & Benny's To Expand Its Vegan Offerings

The American-Italian-inspired chain's new plant-based items include a 'No-Cheesecake' and Vegan Scrambled Eggs

Family dining chain, Frankie & Benny's, is to expand its vegan offerings, welcoming seven new plant-based products to its menus on May 14.

Responding to demand

The new releases follow the success of the restaurant's 'major vegan launch' in January, responding to customer's asking for more plant-based options. The company will soon offer 22 vegan dishes.

The chain's new menu features a Vegan Fry Up (£6.29), Vegan Scrambled Eggs (£5.59), Vegan Loaded Skins (£5.49), Vegan Cheese Fries (£4.99), Viva La Vegan Cheeseburger (£10.49), Vegan No-cheesecake (£5.79), and a Lotus Biscoff Milkshake (£2.99).

'Incredibly indulgent' vegan food

"This spring we are really excited to be introducing the types of dishes that our customers have been asking for as they tell us that they want to see more of our Italian American heritage on the menu," Head of Food Development, Holly Davies, told Vegan Food & Living.

"In addition, following the great success of our extensive vegan range launched in January, we now look to focus in on the dishes that our guests have really loved, creating further ways for them to enjoy every aspect of our menu across every day; including our new breakfast vegan fry up and the launch of our incredibly indulgent vegan loaded fries and vegan cheesecake."

Frankie & Benny's is also removing some of its vegan food from its menus due to being 'unpopular' - including the dairy-free Mac No-Cheese and Chocolate & Raspberry Cake.
