Fashion Brand The Kooples Launches Vegan Bag Following Ban On Fur

The company aims to encourage 'environment- and animal-friendly practices'

French fashion retailer The Kooples has launched a PETA-approved vegan clutch bag following its decision to ban fur in 2016.

The Kooples, which has hundreds of outlets in Europe and the States, has designed a faux-foal skin and vegan leather leopard-print clutch in the brand's signature chic, rock 'n' roll style.

With the launch of this bag, the company aims to encourage 'environment- and animal-friendly practices' - and will donate all profits to PETA France.

Ethical fashion

The Kooples Chief Executive Nicolas Dreyfus has highlighted the importance of making fashion more ethical.

He says: "Through the launch of this original accessory, we aim to promote environment- and animal-friendly practices.

"Our approach also contributes to the awareness and importance of making fashion a more ethical and sustainable industry."

The clutch is priced at £45 and is available in all The Kooples flagship stores internationally, as well as online.
