Milky Lane has replaced egg for coconut cream to create a batter. and uses Arnott's 'Nice' biscuits - which are suitable for vegans - to make part of the crumb. It is also drizzled with a vegan chocolate sauce before serving.
One of the owners of Milky Lane, Christian Avant, told the Metro: "The idea behind this treat was to mimic our famous deep-fried magnums, but obviously making it vegan.
"The reason we have turned to designing more vegan food was that we always said from day one, we wanted Milky Lane to be a place that everyone can enjoy."
The dairy-free ice-cream, which debuted in the UK last year, is also deep-fried in a separate dessert fryer to eliminate any chances of cross-contamination.
"It took us a little longer than we had first hoped because we had to create a separate cooking area, source suppliers and of course, make sure that everything we created was over the top and seriously mouth-watering and indulgent, as with everything we do," Avant added.
