Mexican Chain Chiquito Launches Major Vegan Menu Across UK

The new menu, which includes fajitas, tacos, burritos, and burgers as well as starters and desserts, is available from today

The UK's largest Mexican restaurant chain is launching a major new vegan menu today.

The new offerings at Chiquito include starters, mains, desserts, and drinks, featuring ingredients like banana blossom and jackfruit.

New starters include Nachos, Banana Blossom Croquette, and Sweet Potato Skins, mains include Jackfruit Baja Tacos and Palm Heart Baja Bowl, and desserts include Chocolate Coconut Lava Cake among other meals.

"We are particularly proud of our new vegan menu. It stays true to our core objectives by driving innovation, accessibility, and fun," Chiquito Managing Director, Angelo Gabrilatsou, said. "Having guest choice at the heart and understanding growing trends, this menu allows Chiquito to be more accessible to guests that seek vegan options.

"We are very fortunate that Mexican food lends itself very well to vegan and our new additions bring amazing tastes and textures, that will appeal not only to vegans but to all our guests.
