The free 30-day vegan pledge, that takes place in June, encourages those who are not vegan to give it a try. It is free to sign-up, and participants will be offered help and advice throughout the month, including a welcome pack with recipes and one-to-one help if needed.
Last year, more than 3,500 people signed up for the pledge, with more than 50 percent of them choosing to remain vegan afterward.
"The Summer Vegan Pledge is the perfect opportunity for those who care about animals, the environment and their health to try a plant-based diet for a month," Animal Aid Vegan Outreach Campaign Manager, Tod Bradbury, told Plant Based News.
"It has never been easier to go vegan, with new vegan options coming to supermarket shelves, coffee shops, independent shops, health food shops and restaurants seemingly on a daily basis.
"By taking the Summer Vegan Pledge you will be helping animals and the planet, and also making positive changes for your health, so why not give it a go?"
