Budget supermarket Aldi will be rolling out a number of vegan and veggie in stores across the US.
The line of meat-alternative products including burgers, hot dogs, and 'meatballs' all come under the brand's 'Earth Grown' label.
According to Aldi: "All our Earth Grown products are free from animal products including meat, poultry, and seafood.
"Our vegan items are also free from substances produced by animals such as eggs, dairy, honey, gelatin, and lanolin."
The 'Earth Grown' label has been trademarked, and the official 'goods and services' it covers are: "Veggie burger patties; meat substitutes; prepared meals consisting primarily of meat substitutes or textured proteins being foodstuffs for human consumption, and vegetable-based meat substitutes [among others items]."
The whole range is not yet available nationwide, but it is believed more products will be rolled out across stores shortly.
