An article by the BBC published a list of the UK's 'most influentialcreators' - and PBN is listed as number three.
It claims 2017 is 'the year veganism went mainstream', adding: "In the past, [people] abstained from animal products mainly for ethical reasons but they are increasingly making the switch for health reasons, including many vegan athletes."
The article features a list of the UK's most influential vegan creators, compiled using the tubular influence score.
According to Tubular Labs: "[It] analyzes the engagements of over 400 million viewers, and tracks 3 billion videos and 8 million creators across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter."
The score reflects a channel's 'ability to influence its audience members, taking into account over 10 different metrics'.
While the metric looked at various social media platforms, it did not account for traffic on PBN groups including PBN Ethics and Activism, PBN Health, and PBN Environment - which combined, reach millions of people every week.
Topping the list is chef Gaz Oakley - better known as Avant Garde Vegan. YouTuber Monami Frost - who has 1.4 million subscribers - comes in second place, and PBN clocks in at third.
PBN's YouTube content includes an annual documentary summing up the year's most significant vegan events
Denis Crushell, vice president of Europe for Tubular, said: "The core audience on YouTube engaging with vegan content are women aged 18-26, making up 36 percent of all engagements globally.
"Audiences who watch veganism videos also tend to watch videos related to health, nutrition, dieting and fitness as well as channels which publish food and drink, beauty and entertainment content."
