A cruise described by organizers as the 'first ever vegan' one to leave Australian shores will set sail later this year.
The Whole Connection will depart from Sydney on October 20 before travelling around the Pacific Islands for nine days.
It will be held on a five-star ship called 'The Celebrity Solstice', and feature a specialized vegan menu.
Australian businesswoman, and cruise organizer, Paige Renshaw spoke to PBN about the holiday.
According to Renshaw, the program includes daily workshops, demonstrations, professional presentations, daily yoga, pilates and meditation; documentary nights and group activities.
She said: "My vision was to create an event about plant-based education for the masses, so we will be hosting documentary nights during the cruise, with plant-based education being the main focus of the films being screened."
Renshaw says the cruise has been designed to 'educate, inspire and empower people to achieve their best health'.
She added: "It’s the perfect self-care opportunity and a fantastic way to relax, unwind and learn how to reach optimal health, vitality and wellbeing, surrounded by like-minded people."
Renshaw turned to plant-based living after suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrom - after her new diet changed her health, she wanted to spread the word about her lifestyle.
She said: "I want to inspire people to live their best lives and take total control of their health, their happiness and their circumstances."
