Fashion brand Love Your Melon has launched a line of knit vegan beanies which feature off-white faux leather patches.

The new line includes eight different colors of both beanies and cuffed beanies - and 50 percent from sales of the line will be given to non-profit organizations researching cures for pediatric cancer.

The company, which was founded in 2012, has given more than $2.6 million to fund cancer research initiatives.

Chloe Cunagin, Love Your Melon’s Merchandise Director says: "We’re proud to include this new vegan option in our line-up of American-manufactured products and are proud to launch this option just in time for beanie season.

"Our product design and manufacturing teams have been working to develop a faux leather patch that our customers have been asking about for a while."

The brand will be releasing additional colors of the vegan beanie on Cyber Monday (November 27).
