which anyone can join has been arranged in support of World Plant Milk
Day (WPMD) - the August 22 collaboration between ProVeg and Plant Based News.

supporters can sign up on Thunderclap to spread the word through Twitter
or Facebook.

Thunderclap
will make an automated post of the user's choosing on the day of the annual
event, which in turn will promote plant milk across multiple social social
media platforms.

Growth

While the
2017 WPMD Thunderclap had over 2,400 supporters, trending on Twitter all day and prompting pushback from dairy farmers, this year's numbers continue to
mount - a testament to the growing popularity of plant milks and veganism.

Last year's
call to action read: "Milk
consumption is dropping and the plant-based milk sector is growing - why not
join the millions of people around the globe who are choosing this exciting
alternative?"
