The dairy industry isn't telling the whole truth when it comes to hormones in dairy milk, according to this new Switch4Good video.
Switch4Good is a performance-based organization led by Olympic silver medal-winning cyclist Dotsie Bausch.
The video looks at how 'no added hormones' is not the same as 'no hormones'.
Hormones in milk
According to the video: "Because dairy comes from pregnant cows, there is no such things as hormone-free milk.
"Dairy naturally contains estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, cortisol, and IGF-1 among others.
"These have been linked to increased cancer risk, increased storage of belly fat, and decreased muscle mass and bone density."
The video adds that you 'don't need this cocktail of sex hormones to be healthy'.
