Plant Based News will be hosting a top plant-based physician at a special event at 10 Cable Street in London on Wednesday December 20.
Dr. Anthony Hadj, a plant-based GP from Melbourne, Australia, will be talking about the benefits of a vegan diet.
The creator of the Living Longer Today health plan, since 2013 Dr. Hadj has increasingly researched and integrated whole foods plant-based medicine into his own life and now actively promotes the benefits of this diet to his patients on a daily basis.
Inspired by Dr. John McDougall, Neal Barnard and the late Nathan Pritikin, Anthony's hope is that everyone can learn to reap the benefits from delicious abundant wholesome foods and reduce the risk of chronic disease.
In addition to his work as a doctor, he lectures on plant based health to medical students at Monash University and is a regular volunteer with Edgars' Mission, an animal sanctuary in Lancefiled, Victoria.
He will be speak about the impact that modern western diets are having on people and why these diets are so harmful (leading to disease states such as type 2 diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease etc).
He will then focus on the power of nutrition and specifically, how using a wholefoods vegan diet can not only prevent but reverse many of these conditions. He will detail some of his clinical experience in this area with his own patients.
This is a small and intimate event which will allow people time to have their questions answered and to mingle with others in the room.
The event takes place on December 20, doors will open at 18.30, the talk starts at 19.00, with an opportunity for questions and networking afterwards.
Thanks to Moko at 10 Cable Street for hosting the event.
