A slew of medical professionals - including a number of plant-based physicians and other health experts are to attend a UK conference on nutrition in medicine to bring together 'leaders in the field with the most up to date science and clinical practice'.
Created by Plant-Based Health Professionals UK, the event features guest speakers including Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn and his wife Ann from the The Cleveland Clinic Wellness among others.
The event, which takes place at King's College Hospital in London, covers topics such as 'How to keep your brain young', 'The Nutritional Reversal of Cardiovascular Disease', 'Farming for a plant-based food system', and a Q&A panel.
A plant-based lunch and refreshments will be provided, and guests are encouraged to bring their own reusable mugs and water bottles.
There will also be a seperate event on May 17 in London for the general public, where Dr Esselstyn will also be speaking. Futher details have yet to be announced.
The event runs from 8.30am-6pm on Saturday, May 16. Tickets, which range from £60-£85, can be bought here
