Celebrity singer and songwriter Kesha has announced the launch of her new vegan makeup line, Kesha Rose Beauty.
The Tik Tok star has collaborated with HipDot to create the cruelty-free collection, which features a 'celestial-inspired' eyeshadow palette containing 12 colors ($36), two double-ended liquid eyeliner pens ($28), and a lipstick and lip gloss duo with 'color-changing formula' ($26). Details of the full collection are yet to be released.
'Normal is boring'
"I think beauty is all about what's inside your soul. I'm just an aura in a skin suit, but I do like to decorate it," the singer said in an Instagram video.
"That's what this makeup is about. Perfect is not real and normal is boring."
Kesha has opposed animal-testing in previous years and even featured in The Humane Society's #BeCrueltyFree campaign back in 2015.
"Once I was educated about the hidden cruelties that lurk behind some cosmetic products companies, I knew I had to take action and do everything in my power to end this inhumane practice of testing our cosmetics on animals," Kesha said in a press release, according to Billboard.
"Around the globe, tens of thousands of animals are killed in unnecessary tests for beauty products. But even now it's easy to avoid buying cosmetics tested on animals by only buying cruelty-free products."
The Kesha Rose Beauty collection will be available from HipDot from December 3
