Starbucks UK is set to launch a range of new vegan options, according to Vegan Food UK.

Vegan Food UK is an online organization sharing vegan food news, reviews, vlogs, and more. It operates across multiple social media platforms, with a Facebook group, Facebook page, YouTube channel, and Instagram account.

According to the organization, Starbucks' new plant-based options include Chocolate & Raspberrry Cake, Jackfruit & Cheese Grain Bowl, and Chocolate & Coconut Overnight Oats.

Insiders

"One of our insiders has given us a photo of the new menu (pictured) for Starbucks," said Vegan Food UK on Instagram.

"Take a look on our page also for the other item coming, which is Chocolate & Coconut Overnight Oats.

"We believe this may launch for #Veganuary or sooner, along with some other bits, but let us know if you spot it at any Starbucks."

Starbucks vegan options

Starbucks has been working to increase its animal-free options over the last couple of years.

During a shareholder meeting in March 2018, Starbucks COO Rosalind Brewer promised to increase the chain's vegan options, saying: "We have a line that we'd love to share with our customers later this year, so it is in our plans. We know our customers ask us that repeatedly, and we'll be responding."

Some of the UK plant-based launches in recent times include two wraps - kale, jalapeno and slaw, and sweet potato falafel, as well as a raspberry chocolate cake, and mango fruit pot among others.
