Pro-vegan documentary The Game Changers has become the best-selling documentary of all time on iTunes - within just a week.
The film, which is directed by Oscar-winner Louie Psihoyos and executive produced by Oscar-winner James Cameron, 'documents the explosive rise of plant-based eating in professional sports'.
Featuring some of the world's top athletes plant-based athletes including Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton and top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic, the film seeks to 'expose outdated myths about food that not only affect human performance but the health of the entire global population'.
It screened in more than theaters around the world last month, for one night, before becoming available on iTunes - where according to producers, it hit a chord with viewers.
"The Game Changers is the best-selling documentary of ALL TIME on iTunes...and it took less than a week," revealed the team.
"Thank you to everyone who has watched the film and taken the time to share your excitement with us!"
And soon the film will become more accessible for viewers around the world, via Netflix's streaming service.
According to the production team: "UK fans heard it first - The Game Changers will be available on Netflix around the 🌎 on October 16."
